The cancer centers US$21 million will be funded by the trust with the campaign team hoping the remaining US$8 million will be funded through the private sources.

Kier Group has been appointed as the construction contractor, Hassel, and BDP as the architects and Stride Treglown as the lead consultant for the project.

In October 2015, the Project received planning consent from the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.

Plans for a new cancer treatment centre will continue, despite the likely axing of proposals for a Critical Treatment Hospital.
